Vets & Kids Range Day is an exciting pre-hunting season youth event designed to provide children with a comprehensive introduction to firearm safety, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and essential outdoor skills—all within a lively and supportive environment. This engaging event is hosted by dedicated local veterans and trained volunteers who are passionate about teaching the next generation. It offers a unique opportunity for kids aged 4–12 to learn about BB gun safety, practice their target shooting skills, and develop confidence through a variety structured outdoor challenges. Throughout the event, participants will rotate through an array of themed stations, which include essential safety training, hands on experiences at BB rifle and pistol ranges, and engaging 3D hunting targets. Additionally, fun games will be incorporated to encourage teamwork, discipline, and collaboration among the kids. At the end of the event, every child will be awarded a custom challenge coin, receive a certificate of completion, and walk away with a memorable experience that they will cherish and talk about for many years to come. With a strong emphasis on safety, mentorship, and building community, this event is designed to instill valuable life skills and a sense of camaraderie.
