The Overton County Veterans Coalition Honor Guard is a collective of Veterans united by a shared mission to pay tribute to their fellow servicemen and women. They perform Military Funeral Honors for anyone who has served honorably in the armed forces, regardless of whether it was during peacetime, conflict, or war. This ceremony represents the last act of gratitude that a grateful nation can offer to the veteran and their family.

Requesting Military Honors
Family members of the veteran who has passed away should reach out to the funeral director to express their interest in receiving Military Funeral Honors. The funeral director will take care of all necessary arrangements directly with the Overton County Veterans Coalition Guard to ensure that the honors are properly rendered. Additionally, the funeral director will provide the family with information regarding the documentation that is necessary for this process. Typically, this documentation includes the deceased veteran's DD-214 form or a copy of their Honorable Discharge.
Cost of the services
The Overton County Veterans Coalition Honor Guard proudly offers its services entirely free of charge. As a dedicated volunteer group, we are committed to providing support to all qualified veterans in our community. We warmly invite any individual or family who wishes to contribute to our mission to make a donation to our organization. Every contribution, regardless of size, is greatly appreciated helps us continue our important work.

Membership
Anyone who has served with honor in the U.S. Armed Forces is welcome to join the Overton County Veterans Coalition Honor Guard. Our members proudly represent all branches of the U.S. military, showcasing a commitment to service and remembrance. If you are currently serving or have received an honorable discharge from your military duties, you are eligible to become a member of our distinguished organization. We are dedicated to conducting funerals throughout the Upper Cumberland area and extending our services into southern Kentucky.
